Reference Design � STM32H745IIT6 with External SDRAM (IS42S83200J)

Hi Team

 

Am working on a custom hardware design using the STM32H745IIT6 microcontroller and interfacing it with an external SDRAM   IS42S83200J-7TLI.

 Any available reference designs, including:

• Schematic diagrams
• PCB layout design files 
• Application notes or design guidelines specific to STM32H7 FMC/SDRAM interface

If anyone has experience with a similar configuration or can share reference projects, evaluation boards, or design tipsespecially related to signal integrity, routing, or SDRAM timing configurationit would be very helpful.

We are currently facing challenges with the PCB layout for the SDRAM design, specifically related to length matching, routing, and other layout constraints.
I was able to open the STM32H747I-EVAL schematic in Altium, but the PCB design file is not opening. Do you have a

separate or complete set of design files available for reference?

Hello,

You can inspire from the STM32H747I-EVAL schematic.

That's not the same SDRAM part number you are planning to use but the principal is the same.

All CAD resources are provided in "CAD resources" tab in the Eval board page. Unfortunately, I don't have more than that to provide for that board. 

Perharps, look at STM32H743I-EVAL board page / CAR ressources:

The indicated zip file contains the layout and the Altium designer files.
