is the stlink/v2 able to program the STM32G4 processors? I installed the programmer and the available processors are STM32F and STM32L. I do not see the STM32G in the list

stlink/v2 is hardware. Do you mean the ST-Link Utility?

STM32CubeProgrammer should be used for newer chips.
