Question

I have connected ST-LINK/V2 ISOL and installed driver link-009. The red LED is no longer flashing. In device manager (win10) the USB device STM32 STlink is visable. Question : What should happen next? No COM-port is attached to the USB (should it?)

I have started:

  • Motor profiler 5.4.5 with target STEVAL-ESC001V1 (no response)
  • Motor control workcbench 5.4.5 (no response)
  • No USB-com available for ST-LINK/V2 ISOL. Should I expect that?
  • No manual describing what to do. Does it exist?

The stand-alone ST-LINK/V2 does not provide a COM port

OK. Misunderstanding here.

Rephrase question: How do I make the ST-LINK/V2 ISOL work? No STM SW (or any SW) identifies the device, except the installed driver

I would really like to use the prifiler.

I have made contact between STMC Workbench and the STEVAL-ESC001V1 with a self built USB-COM port.

Again, how do I make the ST-LINK/V2 ISOL work? An how should it be connected?

Rgds
