for STM32F405RGT, is the VSSA and VSS connected internally on the chip? Should I need to connected them externally ?

Connect everything properly externally.

Make sure you have a pull-down on BOOT0

I tested the resistance between VssA and Vss of STM32F405RGT using multimeter, I found it was 8 ohms.
