Hello, I have been trying for a while to test the STMCube programming chain up to the STM32F411 via the STLink without success despite all the ideas read in the forum. During a review of the requirements for the installation of CUBE it is noted, under Windows, WIN 7, 10 but not 8 or 8.1. Too bad, 8.1 is my OS. I attach the error message that it returns to me systematically. Thanks for your help !

Error in final launch sequence: Failed to start GDB server

Error in initializing ST-LINK device.

Reason: (17) Could not find an ST-LINK with serial number 310061000E00004637364D4E.

Please verify the serial number in the debug c

PS: the serial number is the same as the one present when opening STM32 LINK utility

Hello

It is an STM32F411 Discovery board ?

Can you connect to the F411 with the ST-Link Utility ?
