can't find pinout for stm32nucleog431kb swd pins as im testing an external stlink. I want to use the CN2 pins(picture) but there is no pinout on the datasheet and online. Thank you

Should be a schematic under "CAD Resources" for the board.

Isn't it a header to program the on-board ST-LINK?​

CN2 is the SWD connector for the on-board ST-LINK itself, not the stm32g431kb target. So, it is of little use for the end user. You could desolder R13 + R14 and attach to the taget SWD. In fact, the Nucleo-64 or 144 are better suited for external ST-LINK.
