Update firmware failed. ST25RU3993-Eval board - I can't update the firmware.

I have ST25RU3993-EVAL with FW v1.5.6 and I would like to update it to the v1.6.6.

I can't do it through the ST25RU3993 Reader Suite. Every time I get "Update firmware failed". What should I do?

Yes, I tried to update via the GUI (Reader Suite version v1.4.6). I have Eval board with FW v1.5.6.

When I click Help->Firmware Update and select the newest firmware v1.6.6 or even the old one (v1.4.6) I always have "Update firmware failed". It stops at "Connecting to Bootloader".

Hello Pawel,

can you please check the status of the LEDs on the board generating the above screen shot. Is the blue LEDs D1 flashing or is it OFF. The red LED D15 should be ON?

Do you have a STLink V2 programmer and the required needle-adapter (see user manual) available? This would open up another possibility to upgrade the firmware.
