ST25PC-NFC program crashing on windows 11 ?

I am using the STEVAL-25R300KA board with ST25PC-NFC version 3.0.2 on a PC running Windows 11.

The software opens for a few seconds and then closes automatically by itself. I have already tried the following steps:

• Reinstalled the software
• Restarted my PC
• Installed both x64 and x86 versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages
• Checked the Windows Event Viewer / Journal logs for any related errors

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue, and no specific error was detected in the logs.

Could you please let me know what I can do to fix this problem and use the software properly?

thanks for reporting this issue and sorry for the delay in the response.

You have performed all the checks that I would recommend.

Have you installed version msvcx120 of the redistributable (see this question)? The files are now integrated in the ST25PC-NFC v3.2.0 package so there should be no need normally,

Also, could you try to run in Administrator mode and see if the behavior changes?

There is very possibly something wrong when running ST25PC-NFC on some Windows 11 machines. So far we haven’t been able to pinpoint the issue.
