Hi, I bought ST25RU3993-HPEV and In the tag authentication menu I want to use 29167-10 as CSI and there is a field with 'keyID' parameter. I want to know what is the key which this ID is assigned to. you know, the key in the tag and the the reader must be same for encryption and decryption. I want to know the 128-bit key used for this cryptographic suite indicator. And one more thing, according to the ISO/IEC 29167-10 standard, there are MAM and IAM functions, but in the GUI I can only select between TAM1 & 2. how can I use these features with this reader? Thanks.

Hello, I am working with the SensorTile.box PRO and trying to connect it to a Raspberry Pi 4B over USB.On plugging the board into the Pi, it is detected in lsusb as:     Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0483:5744 STMicroelectronics Sensortile.box_PRO_Multi_Sensor_Streaming However, Linux does not create a serial device such as /dev/ttyACM0 or /dev/ttyUSB0.This means I cannot access the device over a standard serial interface (e.g., minicom, screen, or pyserial).   Additional observations: I attempted to communicate with the device using PyUSB on the Raspberry Pi. The device enumerates with an IN endpoint (0x81) and an OUT endpoint (0x06). When I attempt to send data to the OUT endpoint, I consistently get:   usb.core.USBError: [Errno 32] Pipe error This suggests that the device expects a specific vendor-defined command format and does not accept generic bulk writes. Questions: Does the SensorTile.box PRO expose a CDC-ACM serial interface over USB,

Dear Experts, I cannot access the battery models from About:Energy with ST. I clicked Download model from Autodevkit Studio but the link said 404 page not found with the link: https://www.aboutenergy.io/stmicroelectronics-model-download. I also access the link provided by @Max VIZZINI with the post "Update quick start guide for BMS boards and examples version 2.6.1" slide number 10 but the link and result is the same (page not found). Is there any update about the link? I also attached the error picture for your information.   Thank you very much.Sincerely,TH.

Hi Everyone,I’m working with a custom 24-bit display on an STM32H757XIH6 MCU.I’ve configured the LTDC with pixel format ARGB8888.When I test with solid fill colors, everything displays perfectly. However, when I try to display an image using TouchGFX Designer, the output appears as repeated, tiled, and shifted blocks instead of the correct image.I’ve attached a photo of the display for reference.Has anyone faced this issue before, or could guide me on how to resolve it please  ?Thank you in Advanceshifted blocks /* LTDC init function */ void MX_LTDC_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN LTDC_Init 0 */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LCD_BL_GPIO_Port, LCD_BL_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); /* USER CODE END LTDC_Init 0 */ LTDC_LayerCfgTypeDef pLayerCfg = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN LTDC_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END LTDC_Init 1 */ hltdc.Instance = LTDC; hltdc.Init.HSPolarity = LTDC_HSPOLARITY_AL; hltdc.Init.VSPolarity = LTDC_VSPOLARITY_AL; hltdc.Init.DEPolarity = LTDC_DEPOLARITY_AL; hltdc.Init.PCPolari

Hello, I use the ST67W611M1 module in station mode with activated DHCP client. For a generic configuration of my software I want to use the Wifi_GetHostAddr() function to acquire the IP for a given host name. The problem is, that the DHCP client only uses the third DNS Server provided by the Wifi APs DHCP server (see attached picture). The first and second one are always 208.67.222.222 and 8.8.8.8 no matter what I configure. And the DHCP must offer at least three DNS servers. Otherwise the last one would be 0.0.0.0. Sure, I could just setup three DNS servers, but this is a very ugly solution. W6X_WIFI_DHCP is 1. W6X_WIFI_DNS_MANUAL is 0. I tried two different DHCP servers. Is this a firmware bug of the ST67W611M1? Has anyone the same problem? Kind regards Jannis

Hello,I am working with the STM32H7S78-DK board and I want to toggle the LEDs LD1 (PO1) and LD2 (PO5).I followed the instructions from this GitHub resource:https://github.com/ST-TOMAS-Workshop/stm32h7s_workshop/blob/main/1_external_memory/handson/1_extmem_intro.md and this YouTube video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPiFBzvCWfI&t=945s However, when I try to flash my program into the development board, I get this error: I am not able to program the board because of this.:right_arrow: Can anyone guide me on how to solve this flashing issue?:right_arrow: Do I need to configure something specific in STM32CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer for STM32H7S78-DK?

I want to upgrade the WB05N chip on my custom board.I downloaded X-CUBE-WB05N v2.0.0 and programmed the chip with BLE_TransparentMode_SPI_with_Updater.hex (I am using SPI on my board).I selected the Verify and Run after programming options. The download verified successfully, but when I call hci_reset() I get a timeout.Additionally, when I compare the BLE_TransparentMode_SPI_with_Updater.hex file with the image read back from the module, there are differences. With version 1.0.0 everything works fine (image comparison is identical).Do you have any ideas what might be wrong?

Hello everyone,Newbie to the whole stm environment here but am trying to learn. I'm developing on the NUCLEO-WL55JC1.I've been trying to create a dual core communication design using IPCC. I started with loading the "IPCC_HalfDuplexMode_DualCore" example available in the STM32CubeWL firmware package -- which worked just fine. Moving forward, I created a new project using CubeMX from the IOC file in the example so I could develop further using that as a base. However, I keep getting this error:'IPCC_C2_RX_C2_TX_IRQn' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'IPCC_C1_TX_IRQn'? stm32wlxx_hal_msp.c /DualCoreComm_LVL1_CM0PLUS/Core/Src line 92 C/C++ ProblemThe problem originates in the "stm32wlxx_hal_msp.c" file in the "HAL_IPCC_MspInit" and "...DeInit" functions at the "HAL_NVIC_SetPriority()" and "...DisableIRQ" function calls. Of course, the first thing I did was check if the IRQn type "IPCC_C2_RX_C2_TX_IRQn" was declared for CM0. As far as I can tell, it is in the

Hi, @FBL  I am also using this board and STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.8.0 to create a USBX stand-alone (without THREADX) MSC device, but struggling to get the board to enumerate with the PC.I'm not sure if it's a configuration issue or a code modification problem. HelloI just want to know how to properly uninstall a previous version of the CubeIDE in linux. Do I just delete the folder?

Is there a way to set the FDCAN TX and RX FIFO sizes for STM32H7R7 in CubeIDE?I snooped around and found a list of macros that are responsible for determining the FDCAN RAM size in the stm32h7rsxx_hal_fdcan.c. Do I just modify these values to set the FIFO sizes? Here is my configuration parameters.

I am using an ST-Link V2 for debugging in VS Code. It worked before, but now it gives me an error in the GDB server terminal:"Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: ST-LINK firmware upgrade required. Please upgrade the ST-LINK firmware using the upgrade tool."When I try to upgrade my ST-Link firmware version using the button in the VS Code STM32 extension, this error is displayed: "Error whilst trying to update STLink Firmware."Even when the ST-Link is disconnected, this error is still displayed.I tried to upgrade it with the ST-Link utility, and it tells me the upgrade is successful, but nothing changed, and I still have these errors.

There are a large number of extensions that are currently available for VSCode, but I am confused on which extensions to install. For example. There are these two extensionsSTM32Cube for Visual Studio CodeSTM32Cube for Visual Studio Code CoreThese two look like they complement each other, however going into the settings, I need to to specify the path location for CubeMX and the Finder tool twice. I don't even know whether I should be installing these together now. Also, you provide STM32Cube clangd extension, however the STM32Cube for Visual Studio Code installed a C/C++ extension pack that includes the Microsoft C++ extension and this is known to conflict with clangd. There are also a plethora of extensions likeBuild AnalyzerBundles ManagerCMake SupportDebug CoreDebug STLink GDB serverProject ManagerRegister ViewRTOS viewand now it is difficult to know which extensions play nicely with other extensions. To be perfectly honest, should these be wrapped up into the STM32Cube

Hi,On my test setup with the NN (MiniResNet model from STM32 Model Zoo),I observed the following behavior:Without calling LL_ATON_RT_Reset_Network() after each inference, only the first inference runs a few ms. All subsequent calls return almost instantly (execution time ≈ 0), and no inference is actually performed. With LL_ATON_RT_Reset_Network() invoked either before or after each inference (as in the example below), every inference is executed normally.Questions:1. Is calling LL_ATON_RT_Reset_Network() always required to ensure correct inference execution? Are there any cases where the  LL_ATON_RT_Reset_Network() call is not needed?2. In the case of stateful neural networks (e.g. RNN), is it safe to call LL_ATON_RT_Reset_Network()? Will the network’s state remain intact, or is it cleared/reset as well? while(1){ /* ------------- */ /* - Inference - */ /* ------------- */ /* Pre-process and fill the input buffer */ //_pre_process(buffer_in); /* Perform the inference */

I am using the Advanced and General purpose timers on the STM32G474VE for PWM generation and Input capture. Is it possible, for example, to use TIM4 Ch1 to generate PWM output and TIM4 Ch2 to be used as Input Capture simultaneously? If these 2 features are used on different channels of the same timer are there any timing issues that could prevent me from using them simultaneously to drive, for example, a PWM controlled fan with a Tachometer that generates signals for the MCU?

I have a TouchGFX application where Flex Button text is sometimes being corrupted as are TextArea widgets (both with and without Wildcards). Images remain unaffected. The processor is a STM32U599, display type is RGB888 LTDC based and no external FLASH graphic storage is used. The corruption cannot be cleared with a processor hard reset, only power cycling clears it.From the attached image, the two 't' characters in the corrupted "Start" text are the same so it appears that a RAM based font bitmap cache is being corrupted. If so, any ideas where to find the name of this structure/buffer and is it managed exclusively by the TouchGFX library code? Thanks

Hi,I’ve seen several discussions about the use of series resistors between the STM32H753 and external SDRAM, and I’d like to get some clarification. I’m currently building a prototype of my custom board and noticed that on the STM32H753I-EVAL board, 33 Ω resistors are used on the SDRAM interface, while in other designs 0 Ω links are used instead. For a first prototype, would you recommend starting with 33 Ω resistors (as on the eval board), or starting with 0 Ω and only switching to 33 Ω if I encounter signal integrity issues? Thanks,Mohammed

Hello,I am trying to implement a USB HID keyboard on an STM32F042 without HAL or LL, just simple register defs. I took an example code generated in CubeIDE with HAL and a few other examples. I extended the example with HAL to also implement the LEDs which all works fine. I understand how it basically works. I define the descriptors and configure the Endpoints etc. Then I need to transfer the descriptors when the host requires them. But what I can not figure out is how exactly the descriptors are actually transferred. The HAL is so overloaded that it seems impossible to find the exact lines of code where the descriptors are transferred to the host and how that is done exactly. Also where do I put the report descriptor to send some key presses? Can anyone give me some info on how that is done?

I always get a bit lost between PIR, ultrasonic, microwave, and capacitive sensors. They all seem to detect movement, but I can’t really pin down what makes them different in practice.

Windows for ARM processors has been out for 3-4 years now.  Most of the recent Surface devices use a Snapdragon ARM processor.  I can't seem to find a way to use STM32CubeProgrammer or any other software that requires a DFU connection on these machines.  Am I missing something or are there no DFU drivers for Windows ARM?

Split from STM32H5 SWO debugging.I want use SWO pin like standalone debug. Send data by "ITM_SendChar('A');" and want to read data from SWO pin by USB-UART dongle, SWO pin => Rx pin UART-USB on PC.I try blue and black pill (STM32F103 and STM32F411), in stm32 cube ide I configured SysremCore->SYS->Debug: Trace Asynchronus Sw. In "Debug configuration" is Enable for SWV and clock core 8Mhz (SYSCLK and HCLK = 8MHz).In main sycle: while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(Led_GPIO_Port, Led_Pin); HAL_Delay(1000); for (int i = 0; i < 10000; ++i) ITM_SendChar('A'); HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(Led_GPIO_Port, Led_Pin); HAL_Delay(1000); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }LED is blinking, but SWO pin out is NO SIGNAL (Checking by oscillograph).Where is it possible problem?

I found https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32g491kxu6-don-t-have-exposed-die-pad/m-p/625099#M231656 on differences between STM32G491KCU3 and KCU6. Is junction temperature range the only difference between these parts?

Removed the ST-Link plastic jumpers and all four pins are free now - as shown on the blue rectangle. As well as, the yellow rectangle shows the 6 pins of CN4 on one column. It seems that pins 1 and 3 are 3.3 V and GND respectively based on the use manual (https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1724-stm32-nucleo64-boards-mb1136-stmicroelectronics.pdf) but when I check those two pins using a multimeter I get no voltage! Any idea where is the issue?
