when I pull the log data to view the time event, there was a time skip then the RTC is no longer have accurate time for the remaining data, as showing below: from 2:36 it jump to 13:32, everything after 13:32 have wrong time, i'm not sure if what I explain make sense but if anyone do please advise how to fix this

Hi, I'm working on st25r3911B disco board and I want to read & write Mifare classic tags so any one can help me regarding this, because Mifare classic needs crypto1 and I don't know how to work with it.

Hi, I am trying to store the converted data from ADC to memory card. as of now i can able to store the data and read the values of adc but when i tried to store the values of adc in memory card i could not able to do. i have used the below code. I have mounted and declared objects related to sd card(FATFS) globally. By using the below code i could only able to save the last value of adc but i would like to store every value of adc that has been converted since beginning to end ( till i stop).I presumed as i have declared adc in interrupt mode after every conversion of adc it comes to the below function9cnvcpltcallback) so i have added lines related to sd card. right now, i would like to konw how can i continously store the values of adc pin in sd card. Please let me know. void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc){ /* Prevent unused argument(s) compilation warning */ UNUSED(hadc); unsigned int temp=0;  adcval= HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); /* NOTE : Thi

Posted on December 20, 2017 at 10:13I've bought one X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 board, all ST25R3911B_Discovery_GUI functions work fine.But i cannot find the mifare classic function on the GUI. Is there any update for this?  Where can i find the mifare classic supporting firmware and its source code?BTW. the X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 have Arduino compatible pins, is there any official RFHal OO porting for mbed platform? If so, many MCUs can work with ST25R3911B easier, not only F4, L4 family.#mbed #mifare #st25r3911b-disco

Purpose is to generate 4 mutually phase shifted PWMs. Regular master/slave mode will require 8 timers in that case (right?). So thought of using the following, if possible:TIM1 = master to TIM2, TIM2 = slave of TIM1 and master to TIM3, TIM3 = slave of TIM2 and master to TIM17, TIM17 = slave of TIM3 (Will have to make sure there is no interlock which prevents TIMx and TIMy to be in master slave mode). Device planning to use is: STM32F334xxx.HRTIMs already used up.

Hi, I have a problem with a minimal project using STM32CubeMX (version 4.27), an STM32F407VG and generating code for MDK-ARM5 (Keil). I create a new project, configure UART3 on pins PD8 and PD9. I add a simple printout on the UART in the main loop (not in an interrupt) giving the HAL_GetTick() as an ascii string and the value stays at zero continously. Similarly, any calls to HAL_Delay etc. hangs the processor. I've also tested to configure the RCC (HSE crystal) and clock settings (HSE 8mhz, using "resolve clock issues") in addition to the UART, but with the same results. Am I missing some other important configuration to be done in the CubeMX gui or should I add any user code to ensure that SysTick_Handler is called?The only added code are as below, in the sections indicated by the USER CODE comments in Src/main.c. /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ void uart_send (const char *str) { uint16_t size; for (size=0; str[size] != 0; size++); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3, (uint8_t *) str, size, HA

The Automatic mode in the ST-LINK Utility hangs whenever I press the START button. I've seen on the forum similar problems with version J28. The solution was to downgrade the ST-LINK debugger to J27. Does the J29 version have the same bug?Is there any planned release for addressing this bug?

Posted on February 10, 2018 at 00:46 Im Using STM32F767ZI Nucleo Board which has 2Mbytes of flash for code storage. It also allows for the flash to be evenly divided between two banks. This gives bank 1 one Mbyte of data, and bank 2 one Mbyte of data. Bank 1 Address offset in Flash is0x08000000 Bank 2 Address offset in Flash is0x08100000 With the use of nDBOOT = nDBANK = 0 option bytes the memory is configured in the dual bank, dual boot mode. My Current Testing Procedure: Step 1) I compile the firmwarewhich has a single byte indicating the version of the firmware. I compile it twice once with version byte as 1, and once with version byte as 2. Otherwise its identical code. Step 2) I use STM32 ST-Link Utility to manually program each version into each bank and run it. I do this for both version with both banks, so 4 times. I use the following option bytes to run from bank 1 while programming the .bin at offset for Bank 1: And i use the following option bytes to ru

Hey!I used HAL and I've tried to get the DMA going, although It doesn't seem to work and I'm not sure where the bug is at this point, I've realized that when I replace BSP_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA with the standard BSP_SD_WriteBlocks in sd_diskio.c the sdcard works fine, so I know the error has to be somewhere in the function but I can't track it down. I've looked for templates or examples using FATFS and DMA for the stm32f7 but I couldn't find any so Just want to see if anyone has encountered this and has any solutions?Thanks in advance!

I checked the data sheet of STM32F407 and it says it is little endian.However, when I test in a real device in MDK, it shows that it is big endian. I assign an int "testttt" as 0x12345678. Then, in memory window, it shows as 0x12345678 which is big endian.Is there anything I missed? Thanks for your help in advance.

I would like to have an interrupt every second on my TIM1 I use a STM32F103C8T6Here is my timer init:  static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig;   htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 1124; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 63999; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { _Error_Handler(__FILE__, __LINE__); }   sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM_CLOCKSOURCE_INTERNAL; if (HAL_TIM_ConfigClockSource(&htim1, &sClockSourceConfig) != HAL_OK) { _Error_Handler(__FILE__, __LINE__); }   sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_RESET; sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim1, &sMasterConfig) != HAL

I am attempting to design a low power application utilizing the tag detection mode of the ST95HF.When operating in reader mode, performance is excellent, I am able to communicate with tags reliably at reasonable range (approx 50mm).However when attempting to use tag detection mode, I am seeing almost no variation in DAC output when a card is nearby. When running calibration, a value of 0x48 is always returned. When a card is touching the antenna the DAC value is either 0x48 or 0x4C.If I enter card detection mode setting DacDataL/DacDataL with a guard of +/- 2 then I am able to detect a card if it is physically touching the antenna. With a guard value of +/-4, a card is never detected. I am not able to detect a card at any distance.My antenna tuning has not been tested, I am purely using calculations based on the ST RFID antenna design tool, however I have been assuming that the antenna is adequately tuned because performance is excellent in reader mode.Any advice would be greatly appre

Using the STM32L452. Would like to use the Vdd12 pin but it appears to be only available on the LQFP 64 package. Is there any way to have that pin available on the BGA packages?

Hi, collegs!I have NUCLEO-144 (STM32F767) board. I started USB-HID example. It worked. Then I have change in "HAL_PCD_MspInit" function pins from pins DP, DM from PA11, PA12, to PB14, PB15. On my own board with STM32F767 USB is connected to this pins. I just want to see, that DP pin is pulled up after initialization and usb start (without V power detection). So, I was very wounder! After changes, initialization and usb start. The pin PA12 (DP) is pulled up!!! And pin PB15 isn't! I have no idea why it works so... In datasheet PA11 (OTG_FS_DM), PA12 (OTG_FS_DP), PB14 (OTG_HS_DM), PB15 (OTG_HS_DP).May be the problem is in that difference FS (Pins A), HS (Pins B)?I have change only "HAL_PCD_MspInit" function.void HAL_PCD_MspInit(PCD_HandleTypeDef *hpcd) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct; /* Configure USB FS GPIOs */ // __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); // /* Configure DM DP Pins */ // GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = (GPIO_PIN_11 | GPIO_PIN_12); // GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; // GPIO_I

I am having a problem when initializing temperature sensor on LSM303AGR. To simplify everything for a test I am using direct commands. Writing 0xC0 to register 0x1F and then reading back register 0x1F results in 0x00 reply instead of 0xC0. Why is it behaving in this way? Writing and reading from another registers works fine.I don't need to measure temperature, but I want to have temperature compensation working. So I am also writing 1 to COMP_TEMP_EN. Is it enough to turn on temperature compensation? #define LSM303AGR_MAG_TEMP_CFG_REG_A 0x1F u8_t value = 0xC0; u8_t value1; LSM303AGR_MAG_WriteReg(0, LSM303AGR_MAG_TEMP_CFG_REG_A, &value, 1); LSM303AGR_MAG_ReadReg(0, LSM303AGR_MAG_TEMP_CFG_REG_A, &value1, 1);

We are currently developing a system for a secure door lock and we have decided to use as a key either an NFC tag or an iButton. The product must be CE certified. The NFC seems the most attractive solution, but it's certification looks to be a painful and expensive procedure (https://nfc-forum.org/our-work/compliance/certification-program/certification-fee/). Is it any pre-certified solution from ST for NFC reader, like you have for WiFi, Bluetooth etc? If not could you suggest us a third party product for this purpose. Any additional information regarding NFC Certification would be helpful.

HiI want to start using the MPU on STM32F7, however when I enable the MPU then unaligned accesses lead to a HardFault immediately.Code to reproduce the HardFault:static unsigned short foo[5] = { 0 }; memcpy(&foo[1], &foo[3], 4);I wrote a minimal HardFault handler to output some exception information, it also points to a alignment-related issue (SCB->HFSR=FORCED, SCB->CFSR=UNALIGNED):SCR : 0x00000000 CCR : 0x00070200 CFSR : 0x01000000 HFSR : 0x40000000 DFSR : 0x0000000b MMFAR : 0x00000000 BFAR : 0x00000000 AFSR : 0x00000000The above dump also shows that CCR->UNALIGN_TRP is not set.I don't get a HardFault and everything runs smoothly if the MPU is not activated.The program also runs smoothly with MPU activated if no unaligned memory accesses are happening.I'm kind of puzzled, as I searched all the MPU documentation and found no hints to any side effects regarding unaligned memory accesses. Some sources indicate that unaligned exceptions may be raised if the meory region

Hi,We are using ST25R3911B IC in our product and I would like to know if there are any legal issues if we are implementing DESFIRE support on this chip (as it belongs to NXP)? Support guy from NXP told us if we want to support DESFIRE we should use a chip from them, is it true? Thanks in advance.Best regards,Van

Hey there , I have just revived ST25R3911B disco board. For the testing purpose I'm using ST25-pc and GUI app. I can get the UID for the ISO14443A and ISO15693 , but my ultimate goal is to read and write the selected sector of Mifare 1K along with the authentication key, but i haven't found any SW packages for the sameCan you please help me to develop the SW package Thanks

Hi everybody,i m facing issues interfacing High Speed SD memory cards.With low speed type SD card everything look to work well. But when i use fast cards, i got error reads. The thing is that only appen if the debug is running. Without the debuger attached to my board no problemes appen when using High speed sd cards. Any one understand what could make the debugger interfer with the application ? Is there somekind of blocking events or interrupt or clock instability because of it that could make the sd card crash ?tanks.

I'm starting a project based on the STM32F215 MCU. I'll be interfacing to an SD card with the SDIO interface, as well as an LCD display using SPI. I'm looking at the STM3221G-EVAL as a development platform, because it has the SD card interface available. This board uses the STM32F217, but I don't plan to use the Ethernet or Camera modules, which is what the 217 provides over the 215. However, when I use Cube to start a project using this board as the starting point, it shows all 3 of the SPI ports as unavailable. Is there any way to get access to any of the 3 SPI ports on this board? Thanks...Brian

I am using a Raspberry Pi with the rfal_1.3.0 libraries and with the demo software I can get the board to read iCode Tag UIDs without any problem.However, I want to be able to read and write from the iCode tags memory, but I can’t find the commands within the library to be able to send and receive data. In the example, it uses the SysInfoReq command, but I can’t see any way of viewing the data back from the tag. I have taken the sample code provided and modified the main state machine to include DataExchangeSart and Check functions, which utilise the exampleRfalPollerDataExchange function, but I am unable to see the data that is returned.If anyone could advise on how to get to see the data returned?In my final solution I want to read the UID, read and write to the memory of the iCode tags.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hellow, I've been dealing with this problem:I run the UART-printf example on my STM32L011T6 board and it works perfectly. But when I start a new project in System Workbench, name it however I like, add a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) as a static external library, create it in a workspace and then add all the code from the UART-printf example as it should be + all the files and configurations set, I get a FLASH overflow by 25000 bytes and RAM overflow by 800 bytes. I've built the library, I do have the syscalls.c file in the same folder as the main.c file. All the include paths and library paths also seem to be completely fine.Without the printf() part it's working well, it builds and runs, but when I add the printf lines it gets that messy with the overflow errors. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong and I've been stuck for some time, so if someone could help I'd really appreciate it!
