Hi, @SSoh,
There is no generic PID because it would be shared by all devices with the same PID and the operating system would not know which device it is.
Now you have two possibilies: either obtaining your own VID (please read details at USB logo-license and Getting a Vendor ID), or getting a PID from ST.
To save some money, ST offers sublicensing for smaller companies. If you already have a sales contact with STMicroelectronics (via our sales offices or your local distributor), please contact them for the sublicense request.
