STM32Cube IDE 1.4.0 Device configuration tool deletes the project.

When I use .ioc file to generate the codes, it delete the entire project folder (include git information). Looks like I lose all the commits I haven't pushed to github. WTH is that.

There was an unfortunate bug in 1.4.0 that caused files to get deleted in certain cases. Might try updating to 1.4.2 to see if it's fixed.

This issue is fixed in the STM32CubeIDE v1.4.2, as mentionned in the STM32CubeIDE release note.
