Hello Dnahm.1,

NFC RFID is defined as proximity communication technology. In the books a communication range of several cm is mentioned, typically a range of 10cm is mentioned.

There are ISO15693 Reader available from reader makers which can communicate up to 1m range using 5w to 15W amplifier and additional filtering for the RX path.

You could have a look at UHF RFID which has a bigger operating area. The suitable product family would be the ST25RU.
