No target found error

Hi,

I am using STM32 controller (STM32L475VC) for our project. I am getting error as "NO TARGET FOUND" when

  1. I am trying to debug through ST-Link V2 or
  2. Trying to access the controller for Erase/Program with STM32CubeProgrammer

I have done following steps to erase & program the controller

  • Hold Reset pin low momentarily while connecting to target with STM32CubeProgrammer over SWD interface using ST-Link. Not able to access the target.
  • Tried to connect to target using "Under Reset" mode over SWD interface using ST-Link. Not able to access the target.
  • Put controller in USB DFU bootloder mode and able to erase & reprogram the controller successfully over USB interface using STM32CubeProgrammer. But again when I tried to debug/erase/program the controller over SWD interface using ST-link, I am getting same error as "NO TARGET FOUND"

Kindly, provide support for this issue.

Regards,

Sanjay

Has it every worked? custom board?

Pins not wired properly, buffers on ST-LINK/V2 not powered properly, see pin 1/2

Conflicting with other devices connected to SWDIO/SWCLK

Tips, Buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo (See Profile) Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..
