STM32CubeIDE Not Responding after update

I recently updated my IDE, and when trying to open my project I get the expected "Project has been created with 5.6.1 and needs to be updated", but whether I click "Migrate" or "Continue", the whole IDE just goes to "not responding" and I have to close it out. I need to regenerate code - is there a work-around for this?

Update - just blew away my /Drivers folder and the project migrated successfully

How long are you waiting before you close it out?

I waited about 20 minutes before giving in and asking for help - it was definitely having issue with something.
