LSM303AGR date code?

Hi,

I would just like to know the date code on the LSM303AGR on our PCB Board. So far I have not found any document to interpret the date code. The markings are 636 AGR.

    The datecode is given as 636 and should be read as 2016 (leftmost 6), week 36.

    Just another question is there any difference with LSM303AGR made on 2016 and LMS303AGR made on 2018.

    I ask this because we have a old board with LSM303AGR made on 2018, we have no problem reading the LSM303AGR. We had a new board made recently with LSM303AGR but the PCB manufacturer mounted a LSM303AGR made on 2016, the one above with markings 636 AGR. We are not able to read the LSM303AGR with markings 636 AGR.

    There was no change of the chip inside the LSM303AGR from 2016 till now.

    Thanks for your reply, Peter.

    Anyway, I am not able to read anything with this LSM303AGR with date code 636. The circuit is based from datasheet. The details are in the post below. We write to the LSM303AGR through I2C but we do not receive a ACK or Acknowledgement. I suspect the LSM303AGR with date code 636 are defective. Maybe it is old stock.
