stm uart communication voltage

I want to use stm32f407gt with nextion touch screen. Display and stm will connect via to uart(Rx Tx pins). Stm work with 3.3V and nextion works with 5V. It will effect to communication ?

STM app note AN4899:

"If the 5V UART interface input is TTL compatible, VOL<0.8V and VOH>2.0V. This implies that a 3.3V CMOS output can drive without any problem. An STM32 FT pad can accept 0V to 5V CMOS level input when VDD=3.3V."

FT = 5V tolerant pad.
