To limit the OCP of an L6599AD to one function

Hello. I have a question about the okp function while using l6599AD.

The daasheet states that the ISEN pin operates in the hiccup mode when the voltage is 0.8V and the shutdown when the voltage is 1.5V.

When testing with a regular electronic load, the short operation is operated in hiccup mode.

However, if the output +,- is switched to force the short, the l6599 is shut down. In fact, the system should not shut down when shorting. I would like to operate it only in hiccup mode when it is OCP or SCP in any situation. What's the way it works?. Thanks for your help.
