headless build fails when saving workspace

Hi all,

I hope someone will be able to help me out.

I want to compile my STM32CubeIDE project. It works but when it is saving the workspace, it returned an error. See below:

Saving workspace.

Stm32cubeidec:

Java was started but returned exit code=1

any idea what could cause this issue?

Where do you receive that error? In a pop-up?

Can you reproduce it in a new workspace and if so, please write down the steps you take?

It is happening when I try to run this command in cmd.exe:

stm32cubeidec.exe --launcher.suppressErrors -nosplash -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild -build CP8855/Debug_v4 -data workspace_1.0.0

I will try with another workspace

I created another workspace and it works.

Is there a way to recover the non-working one?

You could try to close CubeIDE and delete the .pdom files in:

C:\Users\MyVeryOwnUsername\STM32CubeIDE\workspace_1.0.1\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.cdt.core
