STM32CubeMX hangs at code generation

I create the project in STM32CubeMX, version 5.1.0.

Select STM32F3-Discovery board.

Delete USB and change HAL to LL

Click "Generate Code" and the program hangs up. the screenshot and .ioc file is attached.

How to learn the reason?

Have the same issue. 5.1.0 (I use LL drivers), minor changes in .ioc results in stuck cubeMx.

Files are actually modified, but not sure are all of them modified as expected.

Another issue - cubemx can corrupt (empty) linker script
