S2LP and AFC_CORR register to get frequency offset.

After receiving a package I read out the AFC_CORR register. This value is not very stable, even if packages comes from the same sender.

So I have 2 questions:

1. How do I get the frequency offset in Hz from this register?
2. Why is this not stable.
