Is there a STM MCU with RS-485 integrated on it ? It would be very usefull  given the fact that MCUs are industriall devices and one of the most used communication protocol in industry is RS-485.

    Hi ionut.fasola,

RS485 Driver Enable is a hardware feature implemented in USART for

    F0/F3/F7/L4/L0 products.

Having the driver circuitry on chip isn't really appropriate for a general purpose micro-controller. If you want CAN, RS232 or RS485 you need to integrate the appropriate off-the-shelf driver chips into your design.

The drivers likely use wholly different processes and geometries.
