Greetings,

This will probably be an amateur question for most of you but I need to make sure.

I have a project in which I use an stm32F407VGT6  mcu and I need to make another board.

I don't have access to those mcus anymore, however, I have access to the stm32F407VE

variant.

My question is: Can I just put in a VE variant instead of the VG and expect it to work?

I looked in the datasheet in page 13/14 it shows the table with the VG and Vxx and it looks like the difference is only in the flash 1024/512 and camera interface. Am I interpreting it correctly?

Thanks in advance

    Hi heizenberg.shagas,

    Your interpretation is correct.

Refer to the page 184 of

    http://www.st.com/web/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/DM00037051.pdf

to get more details on the part numbering.
