STM32F4-DIS, camera 5mp, DCMI interface

Hi,I'am starting a new project and I will need to interface the STM32F4-discovery with a camera ( 5mp ),can you suggest me a DCMI camera module with 5mp resolution

    Not sure it supports that resolution. You definitely don't have enough memory to manage such an image.

    Consider an F7 board with SDRAM, and a DCMI connector...

    Thank you clive1 for your answer, but if i configure the camera output format to GRB 4:2:2 ( it must give compressed frames) it will work?

    Not sure there is a great deal of help to be had here. Have you discussed this with your project supervisor?

    Have you experimented with the regular STM32F4-CAM module to get comfortable with that, and the provided software? Have you reviewed the Reference Manual for the STM32F4 DCMI unit, and the DMA unit?

    What processing do you plan on doing with the image?
