FreeRTOS V10

The current FreeRTOS in the Cube Repo is V8.x.x.  Way down level.  Is there a reason why the repo has not been updated to V10?

    Latest CubeMX packages have FreeRTOS V9.0.0. Try to update device packages as the FeeRTOS is distributed inside them.

    The examples aren't auto-generated, changing Middlewares has significant collateral impact over many projects. If you can build your own V10 template and merge in the generated portions of the code you need it is likely to have far less regression issues.

    FatFs R0.12c also isn't current.

    I appreciate there's cost and risk associated with change. But I'd sure like to have access to the V10 stream buffer without tweaking my projects. I *do* appreciate that the firmware is offered basically for free so I get what I pay for.
