I am using UART0 with no issues. What are you using to verify data on TxD0?

Hi,

I have a problem with transmit on the primary serial port on this CPU.

This is the first time I am using a uPSD3354 (have used uPSD3254).

Using the same routines that worked on the 3254, I can send commands on the serial port, but cannot get any output on the TX pin. I have the same prob with more than one prototype. I have checked that the interrupts are occurring and the routine stuffs sbuf, but TXD0 does not change. I can issue a command to change the pin state. (I actually thought that this would not work when not in GP I/O mode)

I have checked all the data and cannot find anything different between the 3254 and 3354 with regard to UART0.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
