FSMC

Hi!

I have a question regarding FSMC interface. I have to connect LAN9221 (ethernet MAC+PHY) to the STM103. This device has 16bit access only and has address lines A1...A7 (plus FIFO_SEL which can be connected to some higher address pin, for example). One thing I dont quite understand in STM103 reference manual page 362 table 66 ''external memory address'':

It states that for 16 bit access the address is shifted by one bit? So it means that I have to connect address pin 0 of the STM to address pin 1 (as the first address pin, SMSC skipped A0 as it has 16 bit access, I guess) etc. Or should I skip address pin 0 (as it is used for byte address) and connect STM address pin 1 to the SMSC pin 1...?
