    A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

    I think I failed to explain my doubt.Yes, I have seen the responses at Keil.

    From the schematics, I could understand that the pin PC4 in Extension connector is connected to the on-board pot RV1. I

    I was confused where to connect the variable power supply leads.Because I were able to see values changing for the ADCConvertedValue without connecting variable supply to PC4 and POT not being adjusted.Also when I tested the pins PC4 and GND with a multimeter with POT varying, the voltage goes to 0-3.26V.How then the external supply helps?

    I am novice to this kind of activity and am learning the basics of microcontrollers.
