STM32F151xx vref questions

Hi,

Vrefint � Looking for a better description of how this voltage is formed/used.  When using an external Vref+, is Vrefint tied to it or to VDDa? How would we expect the PVD and BOR functions to operate if Vref+ is at  a different level (e.g. 2.8V) vs VDD/VDDa?

Anyone got a good place to go read up on this?
