Error licensing COSMIC with STVD on virtual machine

Hi, 

I get this error on STVD (with COSMIC compiler - 32KB) when I try to compile my project. 

The IDE is running on Windows XP over Windows Virtual PC. 

&sharperror cpstm8 C:\Programmi\COSMIC\CXSTM8_32K\Hstm8\mods0.h:1 FlexLM Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session. 

How can I solve it?

    This is an STM32 forum, not an STM8 one.

    Considering contacting COSMIC with respect to support of their compiler/tool chain.

    Try Virtual Box.

    By asking the cosmic support.

    This is obvious a licencing problem, and not directly related to the toolchain.

    Since cosmic is mentioned less than once per year on this forum, chances are slim to find anybody who could help you.

    Do they state anywhere that their licenced/free toolchains are tested/working in virtual machines ?

    So don't do that, then!!

    A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
