Which TCPP device should I use for a sink application with current sense capability?

The TCPP03-M20 is a USB Type-C™ Port Protection for Dual Role Power applications. It integrates both gate drivers for provider (source) and consumer (sink) ports so you can use its current sense function as a sink.
By doing that, you can remove the current sense circuit from the battery charger to lower your BOM cost. Also, you can use ADCs embedded in STM32 MCUs to monitor the battery’s temperature to even further lower your BOM cost. Generally, all low-voltage analog functions can be performed by the MCU, while all high-voltage controls and protections are offloaded to the TCPP companion chip.
