What is Dead Battery (DB) management in TCPP01-M12 or TCPP03-M20?
This is a smart management feature that activates internal pull-down (Rd) resistors when the system battery is fully depleted. When Rd resistors are connected, the Source detects their presence and applies 5V on VBUS to wake up the sink and then voltage negotiation is possible. These resistors can be replaced by an MCU.
