We use the VNH3SP30 H-bridge motor driver for an application where we need to drive a motor with peak currents over 30A. The PCB layout are made following the recommendations from datasheet. But the H- bridge die when running the motor. Any help?

Is external protection needed?

And what type off protection if it also should be able to handle EMC Burst and Surge pulses?
