Question

VNQ500 burns out

Hello,

We are using the VNQ500 in our board to drive loads at 24V. While testing our board the VNQ500 causes troubles and we noticed high voltage going back to the inputs of the MCU. Our schematic is pretty simple: VCC, CE and EP are all connected to 24V. I/Os are connected to MCU with 2k resistors. We did not place any ground protection. What could be wrong?

Thank you for your help

In the application schematic, CE pin is connected to MCU. Why did you connect it to 24 Volts. Datasheet does not indicate an absolute maximum value on CE voltag. Are you sure that 24 Volts on CE pin does not harm the device?
