Hello!

Our company recieved from the official dealer in our country the TDA7850EP chip. The seller claims that this is an improved version of the TDA7850, but we never heard about. Is it so?

I did not find information about this chip on your site. Where can I get its datasheet and description?

Sorry for the trouble and thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Aleksandr Efremov

Thank you, I watched this datasheet. But what is the difference between the 7850EP and 7850?

Hello,

TDA7850EP is a different package option of TDA7850: meaning the silicon (IC) is the same in both references , but housed in a different package. The TDA7850EP is housed in the so called ‘ Flexiwatt exposed pad’ (while TDA7850 is Flexiwatt standard). The EP version has a slightly worse thermal performance than the standard, but is normally cheaper. In terms of standard electrical parameters they are equivalent.

regards.
