Hello Julian,

The ST92141 is capable of generating sine wave signal with variable frequency and amplitude.

The PWM is synchonous to the wave form and may be either with centered patern or not.

ST provide a library of routines and functions to do that.

check the ST92141 page on this web site,

http://www.stmcu.com/devicedocs-ST92141K4-html

(

)

and pay attention to the application notes AN1267 and AN1

Those describe the library in details.

Feel free to post more question on the subject!

regarding the price, it will depend on the quantity you want and where you buy it. For small quantities of OTP, count $3 to $4 plus distributor margin...

Regarding the tools, the software toolchain is free and available on this web site.

ST provide also an emulator and a programming board called ST92141-EMU2 and ST92141-EPB
