Hi Gigi,

Thanks for your help. I have a motor with only 1 pole pair. So it looks like the maximum RPM = 680Hz * 60 / 1 = 40800 (is there any way to increase this?)

Hopefully this will be sufficient!

Thanks again!

Kel

Hi!

I am trying to run a 29v BLDC motor at 50,000rpm in either open or closed loop mode. I have read the threads relating to maximum speeds, and also application notes. However, I am still a little confused about how to calculate this.

Any help, or pointing to further documentation would be great!

Thanks,

Kel

Hi gforte,

Thanks again for your help!

I will see if 40800RPM is fast enough, and will try modifying the settings if it's not. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks so much!

Kel
