L6229Q EN internally connected to DIAG

In the datasheet for the L6229Q, section 5.2 states ''Pin EN (Enable) has identical input structure with the exception that the drain of the overcurrent and thermal protection MOSFET is also connected to this pin.''

Yet, section 5.7 states ''The pin DIAG can be used to signal the fault condition to a ?C or to shut down the three phase bridge simply by connecting it to pin EN and adding an external R-C''

So, is DIAG internally connected to EN or not?

Hello,

the actual configuration is the one reported in the block diagram. EN and DIAG pins are not internally connected.
