information on encoder and hallsensors interfacing to dsp processor

Dear friends,

I am presently designing the schematics of brushless dc motor controller which is sensor based.I am to interface the HALL sensors

to the processor for COMMUTATION purposes and ENCODER signals

for speed measurement.

my doubt is where can I interface the HALL sensors beside CAPTURE units of my processor.

please specify the interfacing ports for HALL SENSORS and ENCODER SIGNALS.

please, may you specify the microcontroller you intend to use and the type of encoder also?
