I want to use STUSB1600 in dual-role mode, but for the sinking mode i want it to only allow 10V-13V sink voltage.

I have looked at the evaluation module and the datasheet i can't spot where restriction for sinking voltage are discussed. Please advice on this because i need to utilize this STUSB1600 IC

Thanks

Hello,

The STUSB1600 is a USB Type-C controller only. It doesn't support USB Power Delivery (PD) mode.

A USB-Type-C controller can only get or provide 5V/3A maximum.

If you want to get a higher voltage (up to 20V), then you'll need to use a controller which support USB-C PD.

For instance, you can use one of the following solutions, which support USB PD and DRP:

- STM32G0x + TCPP02

- STM32G4x + TCPP02

- STM32F0x + STUSB1602

Best regards.
