I am looking for info on some LM317 top markings. Is "CC" a valid assembly plant code? If so, does it match the COO as it's meant to (in this case Morocco)?

I think approaching ST or a distributor directly would get you a better chance of a quick answer.

There are mostly users and volunteers on this forum, having the same information available as you.

But the LM317 is relatively cheap and produced by several vendors, there is hardly any money in faking it.

I remember a time when datasheets used to contained such assembly code information...
