How to select the Current rating of MosFET for Motor control applications?
Obviously , the surge current need to be consider prior to finalise rating of MosFET.
Apart from surge current is there any thumb rule to be followed?
More over, the installed current capacity of a MosFET on most of the projects are too far than the required/ calculated value.
I do beleive that it's not because of availability of MosFET current rating.
