How much the STEF01's Maximum dissipated power protection ???

I could not find any information about STEF01Maximum dissipated power protection 5.2.2

I would use it in series with 14.5VDC power supply, the maximum load will be 2.5A!

Would you give some hint about the glitch free starting up and will this current small enough to not override the maximum dissipated power?
