Question

How can avoid overlapping of pwm from different channels?

I am writing a simple 6 step bldc motor control using Hall sensor(Complementary PWM).

When I try to switch the pwm(example when HALL input changes from 110 to 101) channel 1 and channel 2 gets over lap.I have inserted Deadtime.

how can prevent this over lap?

deadtime is applied within a channel (between CHx and CHxN outputs), so what exactly do we see in the above diagram? Is the red channel tri-stated at the end? Are red and blue two PWM channels of the same timer?
