Can The 1050 be used in boost mode with a solar cell with open circuit voltage 5.8V?
I am using a small solar cell to charge a lithium-ion 18650, 3.7V, 2200mAh. I would like to use the SPV1050 in boost mode in order to capture energy at the lower voltages, but the open circuit voltage of the cell goes up to 5.8V, which is well above Veoc (4.2V). Is there any way to use SPV1050 in boost mode with my solar cell? The MPP is right at 4V.
