Question

Are design files for B-G431B-ESC1 correct?

Hello,

I've just downloaded the hardware design files for B-G431B-ESC1 board and looking at the pcb layout of the power stage I think there might be a problem with this design. The common drain pad for all high side MOSFETs is connected to a V+ plane only through a single tiny via. I maybe have missed something, although I did Iook several times :).

I don't believe that the boards could be fabricated (tested) like this so it's probably just the design files that are not up to date.

Could you, please, check and clarify this for me?

Thanks!

Olex

PCB has 8 layers so check the others too. Hard to imagine PCB designer made such an error.
