STM32H573MIY3Q availability

I spent a lot of time designing a prototype using the STM32H573MIY3Q, but now it’s out of stock (DigiKey/Mouser/JLC) and 78 week lead time (available Jan 1, 2028). I’m kicking myself for not asking earlier about STM’s commitment to this part.

How do we get samples now? I guess I can go to the scalpers...

But then is it even smart to design this into a product? What is STM’s planned production ramp?
Initially I’ll sell a few hundred units but if it goes well I might need 10K+ per year.
Am I delusional in hoping for the possibility?

I apologize for my tone of frustration, but SEVENTY EIGHT WEEK lead time is hard to believe, and upsetting. Is this not a flagship microcontroller (STM32H5) and flagship package (WLCSP-80)?

Hello and sorry for the frustration you faced due to this lead time duration.

Unfortunately, such kind of (not technical) questions cannot be answered in the community. Please contact your local FAE or submit an OLS ticket: https://ols.st.com/

Yes, I have a customer support ticket and inquires with multiple distributors (some already came back saying they can’t quote this part now - even after previously supplying what looked to me like good parts, for the same P/N). I was not aware that there would be an issue with discussing part availability on this forum in the meantime. Can you point me to the forum guidelines? (to help me avoid a similar mistake in the future)

I appreciate your help.

There is no guideline. I didn’t say that.

What I meant: you can’t find an answer for a such kind of questions in the community. You won’t expect to have an answer for availability. The community is mainly focusing on technical questions. Most active ST staff here are technical guys not marketing nor sales guys.

So if you have already a ticket that’s good.. you can follow the exchange on the OLS.

Hope it’s clear now.

Hello again,

We’ve contacted internally the marketing and the lead time of the part number STM32H573MIY3Q is not confirmed by ST but we can say that the lead time is shorter than that. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please contact your local ST representative in your region.

That is great news!

Do you happen to have the phone number for the ST representative for California?
(I only found an unresponsive number, 844 786 4276, and various invalid numbers)
