How to use STM32C5 with Keil IDE version 5.27

Hello, 

We are using Keil MDK with version 5.27 for our firmware developement. We want to start using STM32C5 series and I wanted to use software packs for STM32C5 series by using pack installer in Keil. But it is not possible to download this pack with Keil and also imprting this pack to Keil is not supported. What could be solution for this when we want to retain our IDE as Keil. Our license for Keil supports only for this v5.27.

Download the pack from ARM website: https://www.keil.arm.com/packs/stm32c5xx_dfp-stmicroelectronics/versions/

In the format of STMicroelectronics.stm32c5xx_dfp.x.y.z.pack

Than double click on the downloaded file and follow the steps.

After you should able to see STM32C5 series in the device menu:

Hello ST team, 

Thanks for your reply. I tried the solution mentioned above but I get Keil Pack unzip error and can not install the pack. I also tried importing this pack via Keil but get “Unrecognized file format” error. I also tried the same with older version(2.0.0 pack) but result is same. Is there any other solution to use with Keil IDE?

Ok, I just reproduced the behavior with KEIL MDK-ARM 5.27.1 and also with MDK-ARM 5.38a. The behavior is not available with MDK-ARM 5.39. Why don’t migrate to the latest version of MDK-ARM?

The license our company has is with KEIL MDK-ARM 5.27.1 and to upgrade to new version  we must purchase new license from Keil. But our company dont want to invest for this new license and I am looking for solution to get it work with KEIL MDK-ARM 5.27.1.
