Total newby here- have to debug a digital audio amp using ST-LINK V2. Can someone tell me what cables should have come with this equipment? All I have is the ribbon -> data. I am figuring I need ano9ther cable to provide voltage, is this correct?

Assuming the audio amplifier uses a STM8, you need a SWIM cable that runs from the top of the ST-Link to the amplifier. The voltage on the MCU is sensed by the ST-Link, it uses the power from the USB port. The ribbon cable probably is to connect the ST-Link to a STM32 MCU (JTAG)
