Hi there

For a long time I am using the ST62T60CM6 MCU, But now we are thinking change or improve our firmware.

The problem is the guy who program that chip for our board it is not anymore with us, and never give us the source code, and if we want development from scratch. I thing we could change the MCU with a better, thinking in the future.

We just have the hex files and we can do any changes in the firmware. THAT’S IS A BIG PROBLEM.

Anybody has any suggestion for me?

thanks in advance

Hi,

I don't understand if you have the source code or not!!

Do you have the hex files only and would you like to do some changes?

Hi there

Yes I just have de HEX files but I can't make changes, and that's is my problem.

Then I'm looking for a guy can do that, I mean write new code and make some changes, or learn and I do that.

Thanks

Did you try to disassemble it?

Is it too much long for understanding?

Yes I did it

But I don't have a decompiler for that MCU, and some friend gave me the program called Datarescue but don’t support ST6 family, and the source it’s not right, beside I don’t understand Assembler that's mean I am in same point.

Do you know somebody to do that and translate to C?

Or write a new code.

Actually it is a hobby, because my uncle has all about that and he ask me if I could do something, but I never write nothing for firmware, and I like all about computers and software, and now I try to understand MCU, bus it is not easy.
